DOP-30-4M Dove Prism

Caution
Product Description
[Features]
· Observing the image through the Dove prism makes the image appear flipped upside down.
· Furthermore, rotating the Dove prism will make the image appear to turn by twice the amount of rotation.
· Used for applications that require image rotation adjustment.
· As it has been precisely machined, there is almost no optical axis deviation.
· The length (D) is precisely designed/machined so that there are no missing areas produced over the entire surface of the aperture (A x B).
· A type coated with a membrane to stop reflection off the end face is also available.
· * When Dove prisms are rotated to create an upright image, the upright image has horizontal mirror symmetry.
· * Chromatic aberration may occur when observing a system under high magnification using a Dove prism.
· * The actual measured D dimension includes chamfering and is slightly shorter.
· * Dimension tolerance is defined by the base of the trapezoid formed by the base and 2 angled surfaces.
· * If the base (non-coated surface) of the prism becomes dirty, dirt may be reflected in the observed image.
· * During use, make sure that nothing makes contact with the prism base.
