LBED-3 Laser Beam Expander

Caution
Product Description
[Features]
· An optical system that expands a small laser beam to a large collimated beam.
· Collimation can be finely adjusted with the diopter correction function.
· With a lens design that takes into account wave-front aberration, it can be used in high-accuracy optical systems such as interferometers and laser machining.
· The optical system of the beam expander has an air gap structure that does not bond lenses.
· This makes it possible to also use high-output lasers.
· By using the Galilean type lens configuration, the number of aberration correction lenses has been reduced and the total length of the expander has been shortened.
· By turning the diopter ring located at the center of the beam expander, switching between the collimated beam and divergent beam from the focused beam is possible.
· Used when strict collimating adjustment is required, or the position of the beam waist is varied.
· Selection can be made from a wide range of variations subdivided by wavelength, magnification, and so on, to suit the customer's specifications.
· For BE-V and LBED visible light types, He-Ne lasers (05-LHP) with an outer diameter of φ44.5 mm can be fixed using the included adapter.
· A beam expander holder (LBED-H, LBED-YH) is available, where a beam expander is inserted in a holder which has been equipped with minute tilt adjustment.
· Laser beam expander holders (BE-M22H, BE-M34H) with finely adjustable gates for fixing beam expanders are available.
· * Beam expanders cannot be used in the reverse direction to function as beam diameter condensers for creating collimated light.
· * Calculate and apply the divergence angle of the laser beam and the position of the beam waist.
