[Features]
· The aspherical condenser lens for illumination can irradiate light for illumination with a large divergence angle (converging angle).
· Used in illumination systems for high-power microscopes, and in optical systems which efficiently collect light from divergent light sources.
· By making one side non-spherical, a large angle of divergence (angle of convergence) of the order of NA0.5 has been achieved using a single lens.
· From items with small, compact apertures to large aperture lenses with a long back focus, every kind of outer diameter size has been made available.
· It can be used in a wide range from the visible region to the 2 μm infrared region.

· * Having parallel light incident from the back (flat) side causes the spherical aberration to increase, so that light cannot be condensed into a single point.
· * Aspheric condenser lenses are single lens types, resulting in focal lengths changing with wavelength.
· * The aspheric condenser lens is for illumination light sources.
· * This is not an aplanatic lens for laser condensing.
· * The lens does not have an antireflection coating and thus has loss due to reflections at the front and rear surfaces, providing a transmittance of 90% or less.
· * As this is a pressed product, it may have dents or chippings caused by shrinking outside the effective range.
