MS-08-4.35P Small Spherical Lens

Caution
Product Description
[Features]
· This is a lens made from a high refractive index glass, precisely polished to a spherical shape.
· The sublens allows use as a lens with a very short focal length and large NA.
· Used as a collimating lens for optical fiber, or for optical coupling of semiconductor lasers and optical fiber.
· The sublens is available in non-coated type and antireflective coating type.
· Three types of coated products are available for visible light, near infrared, and optical communication infrared use.
· Compared to condensation using an objective lens, the use of a sublens dramatically reduces space.
· Non-coated items can be used from any direction regardless of the orientation of the lens.
· * The sublens with anti-reflective coat includes a mark for confirming the optical axis, making it easy to determine the direction of the coated side.
· * After installing the sublens, wipe off the optical axis confirmation mark with alcohol, etc. before use.
· * Although the sublens has a short focal distance and can narrow beams with an extremely large convergence angle, the condensed spot diameter will not be that small since spherical aberration is large.
· * Since the sublens is small and likely to roll, it may get lost.
· * Purchase a spare at the same time.
