Product Description
[Features]
· When monitoring the intensity of a laser or observing the light of a portion of an optical system, insert the beam sampler in the optical path, and extract only 5% of the incident light quantity outside the optical path.
· The back side has an anti-reflection film coating, meaning that stray light on the back side is prevented.
· There are 2 types: a parallel plane type in which the beam does not refract and a wedge type with little influence from ghosting or interference from back side reflections.
· Reflectance of the coated surface has minimal wavelength variance, so it can be accurately found from the refractive index of the base plate.
· Wedge type has an arrow mark pointing towards front surface at the thickest part.
· * Optical path of the transmitted light may be shifted a few millimeters parallel from the incident light, depending on the refractive index and thickness of the substrate. (A beam amplitude of approximately 30 minutes is added to parallel displacement of the optical path for the wedge type)
· * Transmittance wavelength characteristics will change when used with an incident angle other than 45°. (Refer to the reflectance change graph for angle of incidence)
· * Arrows on the side of the substrate indicate the uncoated side (reflective side).
· * When using a linearly polarized light source such as a laser, the reflectance varies between 0.9 and 9.6% depending on the polarization orientation. (Refer to the reflectance wavelength characteristics graph)
· * Reflectance may greatly vary if there is dirt on the reflection surface.
· * Although it can also be used for infrared and ultraviolet, the effect of the anti-reflection film on the back side may not be obtainable.
· * Phase differences of incident light are not preserved in reflected light and transmitted light.
