    Gripping Force Evaluation

They have been evaluated using a gripping force measurement jig that has inclines of 30°, 60°, 75°, 90° and 105°.

The gloves are put on, and the side surface of the jig is grabbed using the thumb and index finger

While holding it, the jig is lifted up to the upper tip of the support pillar

The higher the inclination angle that the measurement jig is lifted to, the stronger the grip force.

    • · ASPURE Nitrile Gloves Pro Grade High Grip Type (3-1730) can lift up to 90°.
    • · ASPURE Nitrile Gloves II High Grip Type (1-4773/1-4769/1-2253) can lift up to 90°.
    • · ASPURE Latex Gloves II High Grip Type (1-4776/1-3911/1-2255) can lift up to 30°.

*The High Grip Type is recommended for those looking for gloves with high gripping force.

About The Material Of The Gloves

    · Latex gloves

Natural rubber (NR) is the main raw material. They have good elasticity and fit and are relatively resistant to organic solvents.

    · Nitrile gloves

Synthetic rubber (NBR: nitrile butadiene rubber) is the main raw material. Despite not being as elastic as latex gloves, they have excellent oil and chemical resistance. They are appropriate for use in environments where generating dust is a concern, as they generate very little dust.
In addition, they are less likely to cause allergies compared to natural rubber.

    · Seamless (welded) gloves

Gloves whose polyester fibers are coated with moisture permeable polyurethane and who have no seams joining the palm and back surfaces. They have excellent usability because the user will not tire easily, and the gloves are not prone to becoming stuffy, even during extended use.

    · Sewn gloves

These are knit material gloves. They have excellent elasticity and sweat absorption, are quick-drying and are used as the underlayer of rubber gloves.
In addition, those that are coated with polyurethane have excellent gripping force and are used in a wide variety of applications, including assembly and logistics work.

    About The Clean Room Standards

Clean room standards were previously established individually by each country, but even then the U.S Federal Standard Fed-Std-209 [pcs./1 ft3] established by the US was often used.
In this standard, cleanliness classes are shown according to the number of particles with a diameter of 0.5 μm or greater present in a cubic foot of air.
In Japan, the Japan Industrial Standard JIS B9920 was established in 1975, and an exponential index showing the number of microscopic particles present in a cubic meter of air in powers of 10 was set as the standard.
In recent years, with the progress of international standardization, ISO 14644-1 was established as the international standard in 1999, and even in Japan JIS B9920 was partially revised in 2002.
The cleanliness classes established in the current JIS B 9920 are as follows.

Category Of Wiper For Clean Room

     Microfiber Wiper
    (Ultra-Fine Fiber Wiper)
    Polyester Long-Fiber WiperNonwoven Wiper
    Class Guidelines1001001,000 to 10,000

It has excellent wiping functionality because the divided fibers catch oils and dirt on the wiped surface.

Wiper that is cheaply positioned between a nonwoven wiper and a microfiber wiper, is economical and can also be used in Class 100 clean rooms.

Dusting is poor compared to microfiber and polyester wipers, but it's inexpensive and can be used universally in a wide range of applications.

    Applications

Wiping liquid crystal displays, glass substrates for liquid crystals, color filters and camera lenses as well as wiping resins and metals before coating, etc.

It can also be used for machine cleaning in clean rooms because of its low cost in addition to its application as a microfiber wiper.

It is not limited to inside the clean room and can also be used for laboratories with ordinary environments, for cleaning factories and for wiping electric devices and components, etc., among other applications.

    Comparison Of Sterilization Methods

     γ-Ray SterilizationElectron Beam SterilizationEOG Sterilization
    Principle
    • · γ-ray irradiation damages living tissues (DNA, cells, etc.)
    • · Electron beam irradiation damages living tissues (DNA, cells, etc.)
    • · EOG (ethylene oxide gas) alkylates nucleic acids and proteins in living things
    Advantages
    • · It does not use gases, chemicals, etc., so there is no need to worry about residue
    • · It does not use gases, chemicals, etc., so there is no need to worry about residue
    • · Facilities are kept smaller than with γ-ray sterilization. (The company can also have its own irradiation facility.)
    • · It can be applied in applications where the materials are weak against high temperatures and high humidity because sterilization is possible at low temperatures
    Disadvantages
    • · Large facilities are needed for γ- ray shielding. (Around 10 facilities within Japan.)
    • · Degradation, discoloration and/or foul odors are possible depending on the irradiation dose and target object
    • · The amount that can be irradiated at a given time is even lower than with γ-rays
    • · Degradation, discoloration and/or foul odors are possible depending on the irradiation dose and target object
    • · If the toxicity is strong and there are residual gases, there are negative effects to the human body
    • · There is a possibility of causing a chemical reaction with the target object and generating secondary compounds

About The Mechanism Of Static Electricity

Static electricity is generated in everyday situations, but weak voltages at 1 kV or less are almost all unnoticed.
However, for production sites, it is also not rare that static electricity that cannot be felt at all by workers can cause defects or work problems.
Static electricity damage to electronic components, inferior printing or coating, malfunction of measurement devices, adhesion of foreign objects…and other problems that would seem to be unexpected occur frequently.

Charging Potential Of The Human BodyStrength Of Electric Shock
    1.0 kVNot felt at all
2.0 kVFelt on the outside of the fingers but does not hurt
5.0 kVPain as if being pricked by needles is felt
8.0 kVNumbing feeling is felt from the palms up to the forearms
10.0 kVPain and a feeling of current flow is felt on the whole hand
12.0 kVStrong feeling of being hit by a strong blow is felt on the entire hand

Be Free From Restrictions In The Work Environment With A Cordless Strap.

    1. Cordless Wrist Strap

A static electricity removal effect from the conductivity of potential differences is realized following the principles of physics related to the “corona” discharge effect and “tip” discharge. (Not appropriate for momentary destaticization.)

ASPURE Latex Gloves II (Pure Pack/Whole-Surface Embossed): related images

    2. Foot Strap

    • · The foot strap reinforces the static electricity removal effect by grounding the foot from direct skin contact.
    • · The range of movement is not restricted as with wired wrist straps because the foot strap attached to the foot is grounded in cases where the floor has static electricity countermeasures.

In addition to using the cordless wrist strap on its own, a further static electricity removal effect is realized by using it with the foot strap.

    About The Workings Of Destaticization

What should be done to prevent static electricity and bring back a stable production site?
When abrasion or peeling occurs, causing static electricity, objects tend to lean towards an electrically positive or negative polarity. This is the charged state.

If a charge with the opposite polarity is supplied to the electrically unbalanced object using "air ions", it can be electrically neutralized.

    ■ Destaticizers have two methods to turn air molecules into air ions.

Light Irradiation MethodThis is a method that uses X-rays that are even weaker than X-rays, which are called soft X-rays. It has a wide range and also allows destaticization even in a windless state, but management facilities and legal reporting are required to use X-rays.
Corona MethodThis is a method using corona discharge. A method of applying high voltage to pointed-tip needle-like objects, called the voltage impression method, and a method that uses the static electricity of the object one wishes to destaticize, called the autodischarge method, are the methods for causing a corona discharge. Irradiation cannot be carried out like a soft X-ray, but it is often used at production sites because there is no need for facilities or reporting.
