WEL TIG 316L is the same austenitic stainless steel TIG welding rod as WEL TIG 316; however, as it contains low carbon amount, it has excellent intergranular corrosion and is suitable for places requiring severe corrosion resistance, such as flue gas desulfurization equipment, fertilizer plants, and food chemical equipment.
