Threaded Insert for Cutter SUFT

Caution
Product Description
SUFT○○○, cutter insert for end mills with replaceable tips for high precision finishing.
[Features]
· Employs a wiper insert, achieving a good finished surface even when the feed speed increases.
· Prevents chatter during side milling by making the blade length of peripheral cutting edge relatively short.
· Enables both strength and sharpness by employing smooth twist for the edge due to a newly developed seamless gash.
· Compatibility with SRF.
· Long lifespan insert material.
· Abundant series lineup.
[Application]
· Shoulder milling, ramping, 3D profiling, grooving, helical machining, pocket machining, face milling machining.

Usage method and usage examples
Usage method
Insert installation procedure
Use an air blower or a brush to clean the insert seat of the holder body.
2. Mounting the insert Align the concave mark on the insert with the screw tightening side of the holder body
Tighten the clamp screw while firmly pressing it against the wall surface of the insert seat.
Use the included anti-seizure agent (MK1KS) and clamp with the recommended tightening torque.

Recommended cutting conditions
Recommended cutting condition table
- This cutting conditions show the number of revolutions, feed speed, and depth of cut for each work material (general steel, steel alloy, heat-treated steel, high hardness steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, etc.) based on the manufacturer's recommended conditions.
- Optimal machining conditions vary depending on the machining environment (machine tools, tool holder, etc.); therefore, please check the machining conditions (machined surface, chattering, etc.) and make corrections during use.
Shoulder milling (When cutting width ae is small*)

* When the pick feed is in the axial direction of the tool, such as when finishing a vertical wall.
Groove/Shoulder (When cutting width ae is large*)

* When the pick feed is in the radial direction of the tool, such as when finishing a flat part
Precautions for cutting conditions
Note 1 These cutting conditions are a guideline for the standard type steel shank. If chattering or insert chipping occurs during machining, reduce the cutting width, depth of cut, or feed per tooth.
Note 2 Cutting speed is the value at tool outer diameter D1 . Calculate the tool rotation speed using the following formula.
Tool rotation speed n (min-1 ) = 1,000 × cutting speed vc ÷ tool outer diameter D1 ÷3.14
Note 3 Please note the following points when using MP8010 to machine high-hardness steel.
- Keep the overhang as short as possible.
- We recommend using a carbide shank.
- In order to prevent breakage, please be especially careful when setting the depth of cut.
