· A unit width of only 12 mm realizes space saving
· Supports RS-232C and RS-422A/485. RS-232C 1-port and 2-port types are both available,
enabling many different serial devices to be used
· Both a screwless clamp terminal block (1-port type) and
D-Sub connector (2-port type) are available as the external connection terminal, greatly reducing the time required for wiring work
· The communication protocol supports non-procedural simple communication
· Max. 230.4‑kbps transmission speed. The transmission speed can be selected based on the connected serial device
· Unit setting data is backed up from the EtherCAT Coupler Unit. Improves maintainability
· The Sysmac Studio Serial Line Monitor function allows the communication status of serial devices to be visually checked
