- The safety system can be monitored from the PLC side by combining an EtherNet/IP coupler unit and a slice-type safety control unit.
- The convenience of universal Ethernet at your fingertips.
- High-capacity communication via high-speed, high-capacity bus.
- All data, from interlock information between processes and manufacturing recipes to production data, can be exchanged quickly and at the optimal timing.
- Using an Ethernet switch, free wiring and expansion is now possible.
- The entire network will not go down due to an abnormality in the communication path, and high-performance network performance and security can be ensured.
- Nodes can be detached during operation, ensuring high maintainability by enabling detection, isolation, and recovery of abnormalities.
- Unpredictable delays caused by data collisions are minimized.
- The impact of wiring abnormalities is minimized on a line-by-line basis.
- Reduces network installation and wiring costs.
- A general-purpose LAN cable can be used.
- For LAN cables, metal cables of Category 5, 5e or higher can be used.
- A general-purpose RJ-45 connector can be used.
- Since it is a general-purpose Ethernet, standard wireless LAN can be used.
- There is no need to rewire when changing the layout.
- EtherNet/IP can be made wireless using standard wireless LAN.
