· The FRC5 Series are 2.54-mm pitch pressure-contact connectors for flat ribbon cables compliant with MIL-DTL-83503. A lower cost price has been achieved by re-structuring and reducing the amount of metal in the contacts.
· The price has also been lowered by metal plating only the contact-contacting parts.
· Compliant with MIL-DTL-83503.
· The wiring task has been simplified due to the crimping that does not require removal of the coating.
· UL standard certified product (File No. E72124).
· The connectors use a polarity key and an insertion-error prevention key to provide a dual insertion-error prevention structure.
· The locking levers come in two types: a regular long lock and a short lock, which is suitable for low-profile connections.
· Compatible with the loose wire crimping HU Series.
· Compatible with FRC5 socket connectors and FRC2 headers.
