In the case of shaft hole specifications N, K, TK, shaft hole diameters 51 to 54 cannot be manufactured. In the case of shaft hole specification C, shaft hole diameters of 13, 14, 17, 21 and above cannot be manufactured.
Shaft hole specifications H (round hole), K (keyway), V/F (stepped hole), Y (stepped hole at both ends), WB (2-ended stepped hole) do not have tapped holes.
A set screw is attached to shaft hole specifications P, N, TK, and C.
No surface treatment is applied to the processed part.
The flange is rivet before shipping, but it can be shipped without riveting as an option.
Depending on the combination of number of teeth, width and shape, it may not be handled even in the above table. Please be aware of this.

About tap processing

 

● Threading from the tooth part is processed from the tooth bottom (tooth valley part). If 2 places are required at a 90° (or 120°) angle, the manufacturer will process from the tooth bottom closest to 90° (or 120°) at 90° (or 120°) or higher.
● If there is directionality in the tooth or boss part by processing in 2 places (example: rotation direction with respect to the keyway position), the manufacturer will process it clockwise when viewed from the boss side.
● The threading position at the tooth and boss is processed at the center of the tooth (W) and boss (B).
● The standard screw depth is the effective screw diameter × (1.5 to 2.0).
● When threading (tap) to the flange is specified, the standard position accuracy is pitch circle diameter ±0.3 mm and rotation direction ±0.3 mm.

Flange mounting method
Since the STS / synchro belt can be used at high torque and high speed, be sure to follow the procedure below to attach the flange to prevent accidents.

(1) Riveting method (Standard Flange)

(1) Please prepare a prick punch, a flat board, a cylindrical jig, and a hammer.
(2) If contaminants adhere to the flange fitting part of the pulley, a gap will be created between the pulley and the flange part, and it will not be possible to crimp properly. Clean the flange fitting part.
(3) Place the pulley main unit on a flat board and crimp it with a perforation punch so that the pulley main unit covers the flange side.

Use a punch and rivet as described above.

Be careful when riveting the XL type sintered pulley.
(Like the S45C product, it may be chipped if it is hit hard)

* In the case of B type pulley, since it has a boss, it will be in an unstable state when riveting, so use a cylindrical jig so that it can be riveted evenly.
When riveting the opposite side of the boss, it will be in an unstable state, so if you insert the boss into a cylindrical pipe, etc., as shown in the above figure, it will be easier to crimp.
(4) When crimping the flange, be sure to crimp it in diagonal order.
(5) The number of crimps should be as follows.

(6) After installing the flange, check for looseness.

(2) Screw mount method

The flange of the large diameter pulley of S8M/S14M type and XH/XXH type pulley should be a cutting flange, and the pulley body should be fixed with countersunk screws.
