Micro Ceramic Heater

Caution
Product Description
A micro-ceramic heater is a heater in which a tungsten resistor (heating element) is bonded with a ceramic sheet that has excellent heat resistance and insulation.
[Features]
・ Since it is a planar heater, it heats the object to be heated evenly.
・ Due to the high watt density design, it heats up rapidly.
・ The temperature rises to approx. 500°C.
・ Uses ceramic with excellent oxidation resistance and chemical resistance, and has a long lifespan.
・ As it is compact, it helps space saving.
・ Small and ultra-thin (approx. 1.27 mm) flat heater that can be heated in a small space.
・ A heater with a quick temperature rise and good response.
[Applications]
・ It can also be used for solid heating.

App. Example
Usage method
1. Use with a step-down power transformer (step-down transformer) at a constant voltage.
2. Use a voltage regulator (volt slider) to control the temperature.
3. Perform precision temperature control using a phase controller.

Cautions/Prohibitions
- The maximum operating temperature on the surface of the heater is 500°C.
However, if the temperature exceeds 200°C, the insulation will deteriorate, so do not touch it directly electrically. There is a possibility of electric shock or earth leakage accident. - The heat resistant temperature of the insulating material used near the lead is approx. 260°C for fluoropolymer tube and approx. 200°C for silicone.
Aging degradation is expected over time, so be careful when using it at 150°C or higher. - If the heater is sandwiched between metals, it may be damaged due to the thermal expansion of the metal.
- Please note that the heater will be damaged if the voltage is suddenly applied or the temperature rises.
Our Development Philosophy
The manufacturer received a request from a space-related company, "A heating body that is small and can be used at high temperatures is wanted."After that, the manufacturer has received a request from a semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufacturer, "Is there a small heating element?," so the manufacturer started developing the product.
