- With cap: stroke: 100 mm; A: 44 mm; allowable difference: 0 to 19 mm
RB-OEMXT2.0M × 6
- No cap: stroke: 150 mm; A: 26 mm; allowable difference: 0 to 30 mm
- With cap: stroke: 150 mm; A: 43 mm; allowable difference: 0 to 13 mm
- *Dimension A indicates the available space for the shock absorber thread ridge when full stroke is used with the stop collar attached.
Example: RB-OEMXT2.0M × 2, without cap
When using with a stop collar affixed and a full stroke of 50 mm, dimension A is 0 mm, meaning that a lock collar cannot be used.
Also, when mounting to a frame, affix using the thread ridge at the rear of the unit. - *The term "allowable difference" refers to how much the stop collar can travel when the unit is used at less than full stroke.
Example: RB-OEMXT1.5M × 1B, with cap
When using a stop collar and the desired stopping point is at 20 mm of stroke, as 25 mm−20 mm=5 mm exceeds the allowable difference of 4 mm, a stop collar will not seat to the shock absorber thread ridge.
Please install it with a stroke of at least 21 mm. - *As energy absorption is reduced when used at a stroke shorter than full stroke, please check that there are no remaining impacts before using.
Notes
- *Absorbed Energy
Please select your product so that the total collision energy does not exceed the displayed maximum absorbed energy. This can lead to changes in characteristics and cause damage to the shock absorber. - *Collision Speed
Please make sure that collision speed is within the specified range. Neglecting to do so can lead to changes in damping properties and cause damage to the shock absorber. - *Parallel Use
The minimum speed is as follows:
RB-OEM Series: at least 0.8 m/s
RB-LROEM Series: at least 0.3 m/s
Please set up guides, etc. for colliding objects to ensure loads are balanced. Also, please make sure that the energy per unit is less than 60% of the maximum absorbed energy. - *Please refer to the catalog for product information other than the above.
