Precautions
Piping / Integrated Fitting Type
- *Use dedicated tools to connect tubing.
- *Tighten the nut until it touches the end surface of the body, and then tighten it an additional 1/8 turn to ensure that the nut has reached the end surface. If the nut will not turn any further, then it is sufficiently tight. Refer to the proper tightening torques shown below.
Tightening Torque for Piping
- Body class 2: 1.5 to 2 N·m
- Body class 3: 3 to 3.5 N·m
- Body class 4: 7.5 to 9 N·m
Piping and Threaded Type
- *Do not use metal fittings with a resin body (taper threads). This will cause damage to the valve body.
Other
- *Do not use if air leakage increases or the equipment does not operate correctly. After mounting, perform suitable function and leak tests to confirm that the mounting is correct.
- *Mount and use the product only after reading and understanding the contents of the instruction manual. Be sure to keep the manual somewhere handy so that it can be referred to whenever needed.
- *Be sure to read the individual product precautions before use.
- *See the SMC catalog for product information other than the above.
