The holding force is the value when the pressure is 0.6 MPa.
The holding force is proportional to the pressure in the range of 0.3 to 0.6 MPa.
The large holding force of the MK is generated by the wedge effect of the wedge slide gear.
When the force F from air pressure is applied to the piston, it is converted into force N by the wedge effect of the wedge slide gear. At this time, the force N becomes 1/tanθ (where θ is the wedge angle) times the force F. This force N generates a frictional force R between the linear guideway rail and itself, resulting in the large holding force of the MK.

Precautions for use
When using the LinearClamper-Zee for R guides, make sure that the extension of the dotted line in the diagram below aligns with the center of the rail's arc.
- MK-1501/300: X = 8 mm
- MK-2501/1000: X = 19 mm
- MK-3501/1000: X = 19.5 mm
- MK-4501/1000: X = 16.5 mm
- MK-6501/1000: X = 21 mm
