Notes
Installation/wiring
- 1.Screw in the arrow on the cover according to the flow of fluid. The screw-in depth should be 9 mm ± 1 mm for 3/4B and 11 mm ± 1.2 mm for 1B.
- 2.The mounting direction can only be vertical to the horizontal pipe.
- 3.Before and after the pipe on which the product is mounted, a straight section that is 5 times or more the opening diameter of the pipe should be provided in order to keep away as far as possible from anything that disturbs the flow such as elbows and valves.
- 4.Each model comes with 3 types of paddles, short, medium and long. Use one paddle according to the pipe size and the set flow rate.
- 5.IF3 * If the long paddle is mounted to the O type, the pipe may contact the tip of the paddle. This is because the gap between the paddle and the pipe is reduced to detect a small flow rate. Therefore, if the paddle comes in contact, please make alteration to the paddle tip.
- 6.If any piping such as one not in line with standards is used, the paddle may come into contact with the pipe. In that case, perform alteration to the paddle.
- 7.It cannot be used when water hammer or pulsating pressure is applied to the fluid.
- 8.Wire the micro switch according to the symbols on the upper insulator. (It is the opposite of the terminal symbol on the micro switch. The terminals are screw terminals. )
- 9.The screws used for the terminal are M4.
- 10.Use JIS standard products for mounting piping fittings. Please use commercially available reducing tee for 1 1/4B to 3B. For 4B to 6B, cut the 1B socket in half and weld it.
