Design Notes And Selection

  • 1. The valve may not open fully and may oscillate if the IN side on the check valve is throttled, even if used within the specification range detailed.
  • 2. The cracking pressure is the pressure at which the valve begins to open, not the pressure at which it fully opens.
  • 3. The check valve is structured so that the differential pressure generated when switching between the solenoid valve for the primary pressure (IN) and secondary pressure (OUT) causes it to close. Note that if the primary pressure (IN) drops gently and the differential pressure becomes less than the minimum operating pressure or cracking pressure, the secondary pressure (OUT) may also drop with the check valve not fully closing.
