Product Description

· The head has a trumpet shape and the thread portion is the same as the coarse thread (1-row, 8 threads).
· A major feature of the Tapix is that the base part near the tip end of the thread part has a diagonal shape lower than the thread drilling point, so as to allow screws to enter, drill straight holes, and avoid application of unnecessary loads. The idea is that it "cuts" in and creates threads where a straight hole has been drilled. Just as the wood will not split even if drilled at the edges with a gimlet, Tapix screws are ideal for use at the edges of hard materials and wood. In addition to this, when cutting a hole with a "drill", cutting powder accumulates on the side or bottom, but the diagonal spring of the Tapix smoothly discharges the cutting powder upwards.
