Additional options (Semi-order product)
It is possible to extend the lead wire of the silicone rubber heater and add a K type thermocouple.
* The thermocouple is the TH-8181 series with a resin coating.
When adding lead wires
- Add "-L (length)" to the end of the part number.
* The extension is done with a crimp terminal, and then wrapped with glass tape and then covered with a silicone shrinkable tube.

· Example of model with options
(Example) When the lead wire of the silicone rubber heater is extended to 3 m

When adding a thermocouple K type
- Add "-K (length)" to the end of the part number.
* When adding a thermocouple, the lead wire will be extended at the same time.

Features
Basic Structure

(1) Silicone rubber sheet (2) Heating wire (3) Electrode pressing silicone sheet (4) Lead (5) Lead wire
Basic structural drawing. A structure in which a resistance element is placed between 2 upper and lower silicone rubber sheets, and after removing the internal air, it is compressed and pressed to form a thin sheet.
"-P" at the part number suffix is a product with double-sided tape (with release paper) attached to the silicone rubber heater.
Electric Power Density
Although it varies depending on the control temperature, generally 0.8 W/cm² or less is optimal. (Please note that if the power density is too high, it will be difficult to control the temperature.)
Temperature Control
- Analog type
Suitable for rough temperature control
(0 to 100℃ variable knob type, etc.) - Digital type
Suitable for temperature control with higher accuracy
(0 to 999℃ variable button type)

Technical Information
Surface Temperature in Air

*Measure the heater alone in normal temperature air. The surface temperature of the heater varies depending on the operating environment, the material and shape of the combustible material, etc.
Cautions and Prohibitions
- Do not heat the heater in the open air. There is a risk of fire, etc. The same applies if the heater is floating against the mounting surface.
- When sandwiching the heater between the metal plate and the object to be heated, make sure that the lead wires do not come into contact with the metal plate.
- Cannot be used in atmospheres such as steam, water, or corrosive gases.
- Processing such as making holes in the heater is not possible. Also, if the rubber is damaged, it cannot be used.
- Do not bend the heater when using it. The minimum bending radius of the heater is R25. (The lead wire holding sheet does not bend very much.)
- Do not use the product above the rated voltage (V).
- Be sure to turn off the power when removing the heater from the object to be heated. Also, do not touch the heater immediately after turning off the power.
- If the gap between the object to be heated and the heater is large, the temperature will rise abnormally. Care must be taken when fixing the heater.
- Keep the lead wire retaining sheets free from pressure.
- *Silicone-based products may emit smoke or an odor when heated to high temperatures. This is a phenomenon peculiar to silicone called "impurities" in silicone or "siloxane gas." We thank you for your understanding.
(*Heat treatment at high temperatures eliminates smoke, but does not guarantee 100% elimination of siloxane gas.)
