PVC: PVC resources are abundant in Japan. Often used as coverings since it is cheap and of good quality.
PET: Superior impact-resistance and transparency. Currently popular as a resin for use in place of PVC because of its relatively cheap price.
Acrylic (PMMA): High transparency and elegant gloss. Also known as organic glass.
Polycarbonate (PC): Superior impact-resistance, heat-resistance and dimensional stability. Displays most of the performance required for structural components.
