· Mini/miniature type MSC-SP-1 slip clutch that can be used for splitting an overload between 2 concentric shafts.
· The slip torque can be both set or changed by a single hex key. The deeper the screw-in point of the M4 set screw at the center of the main body, the greater the slip torque. The clockwise rotation is for tightening and the counterclockwise rotation is for loosening.
· The internal pressure ball pushes against the friction plate and a stable slip torque is attained at this time due to the wave spring reaction force.
· Support the 2 shafts with 2 bearings each. Radial loads cannot be supported. When attaching a pulley, if there is eccentricity, prepare another shaft and support each shaft with 2 bearings on each side.
· When the clutch slips, the rotational energy converts to thermal energy and the surface becomes hot. The surface temperature can tolerate up to 80°C. If the temperature rises above 80°C, the internal friction plate will melt and cannot be used. Please take note.
· Zero backlash.
· Only available with inner diameter of ø4.
