Precipitation hardening type stainless steel is hardened by heat treatment on pin and roller, and on the plate / bush 18-8SUS ( SUS304 equivalent), for clip 17-SUS ( SUS301 equivalent roller chain used.) Maximum allowable tensile strength is 1.5 times SS specification. Corrosion resistance is slightly lower than SS specification. Where corrosion resistance and heat resistance are required, more suitable than SS specification for miniaturization and strong power transmission. Precipitation hardened stainless steel is used, and so has magnetism.
