Usage Example
Mounting and Usage
1. Please ensure that the actual load and moment applied to the cylinder do not exceed the allowable load and moment:
1.1. Allowable torque of the cylinder.

1.2. The displacement varies depending on the type of moment applied to the cylinder. Please refer to the table below for details.
Within the entire stroke range of the cylinder, the load at the indicated position
changes the displacement of the table (at the indicated position).
During the entire stroke of the cylinder, the load at the indicated position
causes displacement of the table (at the indicated position).

- 2. The cylinder can be piped at three locations. Please check the pressurized port and the operating direction. The side port is plugged at the time of shipment. If necessary, you can open the side port to supply air.
- 3. When installing a slide unit with a sensor switch, if the gap between adjacent cylinders does not meet the specified value shown in the table below, the sensor switch may malfunction. Be sure to install the cylinders with at least the distance indicated in the table below.

- 4. When applying output to the slide unit, be sure to apply it to the center of the rod to avoid eccentricity (see figure below). Ensure that the load is aligned coaxially with the rod axis.

- 5. Use a speed controller and adjust the speed to 500 mm/s or less.
- 6. Cylinder mounting method: Secure the cylinder from four directions and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

- 7. Workpiece mounting method:
- 7.1. The workpiece can be mounted on two surfaces of the compact slide. When fixing the lock bolt, be sure to tighten it with an appropriate torque within the specified torque value range. When fixing the workpiece to the slide, make sure that the length of the bolt does not exceed the depth of the female thread hole. If the tip of the bolt comes into contact with the linear guide, it may cause damage to the linear guide.

- 7.2. When supporting the table with the linear guide and fixing the workpiece, be careful not to apply strong impacts.
- 7.3. When tightening the workpiece to the slide unit with bolts, hold the slide unit by hand. When tightening while holding the main body by hand, applying excessive force to the guide may cause a decrease in accuracy.
