Product Description
This environmentally friendly, "lead-free," "complete lubrication-free" bearing requires no additional lubricant and does not use any lead at all.
Daidyne DDK05 is a composite bearing that combines a low-friction polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bearing surface through the use of a special filler agent, with the strength and dimensional stability of a metal backing.
[Features]
· The bearing surface slides smoothly without lubrication because its dynamic friction coefficient and static friction coefficient are extremely small.
· So-called "Stick Slip" does not occur.
· Safe to use in oil.
· Can be used within a temperature range of -200°C to +280°C.
· Suitable for use in different applications, including high-load, impact load, intermittent operation and oscillating motions.
· Free from electrostatic induction (when installed, each bearing has an electrical resistance of 1 to 10 Ω per 1 cm^2).
· Bearing surface has superior chemical resistance. It is also not affected by solvents, such as petroleum and alcohol.
· Will not damage the mating shaft.
· An extraordinarily long service lifespan.
· Bearing is lightweight and thin (3 mm at its thickest), which is why it does not require much space. In other words, the design is compact.
· Minimizes operating noise.
