High resolution 0.5 μm
The high-precision measurement with a resolution of 0.5 μm and the ease of use of the LED digital display make it useful in various applications at production sites around the world.
Since the sensor body is equipped with a digital display, you can easily make settings while checking the amount of displacement.

It has a built-in controller and digital display, and has a compact shape.

Since it has a protective structure of IP67, it can be used even in environments with a lot of water and dust. Also, since a metal sleeve is inserted in the mounting hole, it can be tightened firmly up to 0.8 N·m.

The functions of the controller are integrated into the sensor body. Eliminates the need for controller installation and installation space.

The lightweight resin body, which weighs approx. 70 g, can also be installed on a slider or robot arm. In addition, a cable with excellent flex resistance is used as standard.

3 outputs and 2 analog outputs
Since it is equipped with 3 outputs, it can be used as a HI/GO/LOW judgment output or alarm output. Furthermore, the analog output is equipped with a voltage output and a current output.
NPN/PNP bipolar compatible [Global support]
Since 1 part number supports both NPN/PNP polarities by wiring, the number of registered part numbers for maintenance can be reduced.
Memory switching function
You can save up to 4 sensor settings. Since the settings can be easily switched, the setup of the device can be changed smoothly.
High-performance type (HL-G1□-S-J/HL-G1□-RS-J)
A 1: 1 connection using RS-422 or up to 16 HL-G1 series units using RS-485 can be connected, and measured values can be returned from the HL-G1 series in response to the request message from the PLC. When using the manufacturer's PLC*, it is possible to easily operate the settings of the HL-G1 series and acquire the measurement output by using the PLC data write/read commands (F145, F146).

Sensor Setting / Evaluation Tool Software HL-G1SMI
Up to 16 sensors can be set at once. You can easily collect the data required for analysis, such as monitoring the received amount waveform and data buffering. You can select each language during installation.
・ Data buffering
Accumulates and displays measurement data. Since it can be displayed on top of the data measured in the past, it can be compared and analyzed.
・ Received waveform display
The amount of light received is displayed for each cell of the light receiving element.
・ Measured value display
The measured value and the output status of each terminal are displayed.
