Usage Examples

Installation

The switch should be securely installed using M3 screws and plain washers or spring lock washers, etc. The tightening torque should be 0.39 to 0.59 N⋅m.

Safety Precautions

About Soldering

  • Connection to soldering terminals
    As a general rule, the processing time for soldering should be 5 seconds or less at a soldering iron tip of 60 W (iron tip temperature +250 to 350℃), and no external force should be applied for 1 minute after soldering.
    Flux should be used in minimum quantities. If flux enters inside the switch, it may cause contact failure.
  • Connection to #187 tab terminal
    Use a #187 tab receptacle and insert it straight into the terminal.
    Excessive external force applied to the terminals from the horizontal or vertical direction may cause deformation of the terminals and damage to the housing.
  • Connection to #250 tab terminal
    Use a #250 tab receptacle and insert it straight into the terminal.
    Excessive external force applied to the terminals from the horizontal or vertical direction may cause deformation of the terminals and damage to the housing.
