Retaining R-Clip

R-clip with additional retaining mechanism. Can be inserted in a single action.

· The snap pin itself does not easily come away.
· The snap pin is formed from bent wire.
· The straight section of the snap pin inserts into a hole in the radial direction on the corresponding shaft. The semi-circular section of the snap pin exerts a spring action which stops it from sliding in the direction of thrust.
· Used to prevent secured objects from removal from the corresponding shaft.
· Can be used as an alternative to a cotter pin.
