[Features]
· The flat roller incorporates a precision roller conforming to JIS B 1506 in a weight reduction cage pocket with improved rigidity by pressing a steel plate into M shape.
· The rollers are held in the cage pockets and do not fall off.
· In addition, as cages are provided with rollers with diameter of 5 mm or more, smooth movement can be obtained without damaging the rolling surface even when the hardness of the rolling surface is low.
· As the flat roller is narrowed to use between 2 rolling surfaces, it moves in the same direction as the table by half of the table movement.
· [Large Load Capacity] As the rollers are installed at a small pitch, the allowable load is large, and depending on the conditions, it is usable on the rolling surface of castings that have not been hardened. Moreover, the flexural rigidity of the table is almost the same as that of the sliding surface.
· [Standardization of Combination Accuracy for 90° V Surface and Flat Surface] Standardized so that it can be mounted on the most common 90° V-flat sliding surface with the narrow guide system of tables and saddles of various machines, so it can be used without major design changes.
· [Lightest Friction in Roller Type Linear Motion System] Since the rollers are aligned and held in a lightweight and rigid cage, there is no mutual friction between the rollers and the skew of the rollers can be suppressed. For this reason, the coefficient of friction is as small as μ = 0.001 to 0.0025 and there is no stick-slip that causes problems on slippery surfaces.
· [Single-action Cage Connection] When installing in a large machine, the flat roller can be easily connected on the bed and is easy to assemble even if it is long.
