Inner Ring

Caution
Product Description
Optimal for use with shafts that cannot be surface hardened or finished,
although shafts are often used directly as raceway surfaces without a needle roller bearing inner ring.

Product features details
Needle-shaped roller bearings often use the shaft directly as the raceway surface without using the inner ring, but when using a shaft that cannot be surface-hardened or ground, it is better to use the inner ring described here.
The inner ring is made of high carbon chrome bearing steel and is heat-treated and then ground.
It is desirable to use a wide inner ring when the axia ltravel length of the shaft with respect to the housing is large and when a seal is used on the outside of the bearing.
Normally, needle-shaped roller bearings use the shaft as the raceway surface without using the inner ring, but if the surface of the shaft cannot be processed to the specified hardness and roughness, the inner ring is used. High carbon chrome bearing steel is used, and after heat treatment, a high-precision grinding finish is applied.
- It can also be used as a bushing.
- There are metric and inch systems.
- There is also a type with a lubrication hole in the center of the raceway surface.
