Angular Ball Bearing

Caution
- The value in the "Width (mm)" column of the product specifications is the value for a single column even in the case of a combination of multiple columns. (Catalog B dimension)Please note that the width of the actual multi-row combination is twice the stated dimension (2B).
Product Description
Angular ball bearings that can receive a certain amount of axial (axial direction) load.
[Features]
・ The straight line connecting the contact points between the ball and the inner and outer rings has an angle with respect to the radial direction.
・ Radial load and unidirectional axial load can be applied.
・ When a radial load acts, an axial component force is generated, so 2 are generally used facing each other.
[Applications]
・ Ideal for machine tools, feed screw mechanisms, ball screw support units, etc.

Product features details

・ Using
under conditions where an appropriate amount of grease is sealed, and the heat generated by sufficient familiar operation, cooling of the outer cylinder, etc., is removed.
・ Use with constant pressure preload.
Type, structure and features of angular ball bearings
Angular ball bearings are non-separable bearings, and the straight line connecting the contact points between the ball and the inner and outer rings has a certain angle (contact angle) with respect to the radial direction. (Refer to Figure 1)The contact angle and contact angle symbol are shown in Table 1.
A radial load and a unidirectional axial load can be applied. Also, when a radial load acts, an axial component force is generated, so two are generally used facing each other. Table 2 shows the angular ball bearing,
Table 3 shows the combination angular ball bearings. For bearings with a contact angle of 15° and bearing accuracy of JIS 5 class or higher, refer to Precision Rolling Bearing (CAT. No. 2260/J).

Table 2 Classification and characteristics of angular ball bearings
| Classification | Features |
|---|---|
| Standard type | ・ The bearing series includes 79, 70, 72, 72B, 73 and 73B. ・ The contact angles are 30° and 40° (with B). ・ The standard retainer type depends on the bearing model number. (Please refer to Table 4) |
Table 3 Combination type and features of combination angular ball bearings
| Combination Type | Features |
|---|---|
| Back combination (DB) | ・ It can receive radial load and axial load in both directions. ・ Since the distance l between the working points of the bearing is large, the load capacity of the moment load is large. ・ The allowable tilt angle is small. |
| Front combination (DF) | ・ It can receive radial load and axial load in both directions. ・ The distance l between the working points of the bearing is small, and the load capacity of the moment load is small. ・ The permissible tilt angle is larger than the back combination. |
| Parallel combination (DT) | ・ It can receive radial load and unidirectional axial load. ・ Since 2 pieces receive an axial load, a large axial load can be received |
Remarks 1. Since the bearings are manufactured as a set to adjust the internal clearance or preload amount of the bearings, bearings with the same product number must be used in combination.
