Ziegler Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, with an average molecular weight of 3 million (light dispersion method) unit or more in an olefin plastic with low pressure method (UHMW).
[Features]
· Lower abrasion rate than other material like synthetic resins and brass, sheet metal and copper.
· Abrasion-resistance is 7 times of steel material, 4 times of cast nylon and 16 times of polyacetal.
· Extremely low wear coefficient. Lower than when lubricant oil is applied to the metal.
· Does not break or crack.
· No damages even when used at ultra-low temperatures.
· -100°C to +80°C.
· Also suitable for low temperature conditions such as in cold regions.
· Very stable in both acid and alkali.
· Almost "0" water absorption rate with no swelling or dimensional change due to water absorption.
· Approved by the Food Sanitation Act of Japan, Japan's Ministry of Health and Welfare of Japan and is physically harmless.
