| Precautions for use |
·Do not use this product as a safety device for personal protection. ·For inspections intended to ensure personal safety, please use products that comply with OSHA, ANSI, IEC, and other relevant national laws and standards for personal safety protection. |
About installation
· When installing the sensor, please use the mounting plate provided with the sensor. If a mounting plate is not used, the optical axis may become misaligned. Please place the mounting plate between the sensor and the mounting surface.
· The tightening torque should be below 0.5N⋅m.
(Note 1): The installation direction of the mounting plate has been fixed. When installing, make sure the bent side of the mounting plate is close to the sensor.

Mounting Direction
· Ensure that the sensing side of the sensor is parallel to the surface of the object being detected. Generally, do not use the sensor at an angle to the detected object.

· However, if the surface of the detected object is smooth, the sensor must be installed at a 5° to 10° angle as shown in the diagram.

· If there is a mirror-like object under the sensor, the sensor may not operate stably. Therefore, the sensor should be tilted or moved away from mirror-like objects as shown below.

· Do not install the sensor in the wrong direction. See the diagram below.

Shaft Adjustment
Diffuse Reflective Type
(1) Set the operation selector switch to Light ON mode (L side)
(2) Within the detection range, align with the object to be detected and observe the operation status indicator (red).
(3) When the operation status indicator (red) is off: Turn the sensitivity adjuster clockwise until the operation status indicator (red) lights up. Setting is complete.
(4) When the operation status indicator (red) is lit: First, turn the sensitivity adjuster counterclockwise until the operation status indicator (red) turns off, then turn the sensitivity adjuster clockwise until the operation status indicator (red) lights up. Setting is complete.
(5) Set the operation selector switch to the output action you need.

Through-beam Type
(1) Set the operation selector switch to Light ON mode (L side).
(2) Place the emitter and receiver on the same horizontal line. First, fix the receiver in place, then move the emitter up, down, left, and right. Observe whether the laser spot enters the receiver's receiving window and check the status indicator light (□ turns red)□ to determine the light entry status range. Finally, fix the position of the emitter's mounting bracket.
(3) Adjust the angles up, down, left, and right in the same way.
(4) Adjust the angle of the receiver.
(5) Check the work status indicator light.
(6) Set the operation selector switch to the output action you need.

Retroreflective
(1) Set the operation selector switch to Light ON mode (L side).
(2) Place the projector and the reflector on the same horizontal line. Move the reflector up, down, left, and right, and determine the light-receiving range by observing the operation status indicator (red). Then, set the reflector approximately in the center of this range.
(3) Adjust the angles up, down, left, and right in the same way.
(4) Adjust the angle of the sensor.
(5) Set the operation selector switch to the output action you need.

Others
· When in use, please avoid the transitional state when the power is turned on (approximately 50 ms).
· When connecting the loads of this product to different power supplies, be sure to turn on the power supply on this product's side first.
· Applying excessive pressure to the cable at low temperatures may cause cable damage.
· Keep the emitting and receiving surfaces of this product clean. Avoid water, oil, fingerprints, or other impurities that may cause light reflection or refraction, as well as dust, debris, and other dirt that may block the light. If there is any residue, please wipe it clean with a soft, clean cloth or lens tissue. Do not use in environments with steam, excessive dust, or corrosive gases.
· Do not allow the product to come into direct contact with organic solvents such as thinners, strong acids, alkalis, water, oil, or grease.
· When cleaning the emitter and receiver windows of this product, be sure to turn off the power first.
· This product uses a highly directional laser, so factors such as installation conditions or deformation of the frame may cause the optical axis to shift. Be sure to adjust the optical axis before operation.
