Precision-cleaned products for use in clean environments such as cleanrooms are now available.
Can be used in a cleanroom (cleanliness class 10 to 10,000). Electrolytic polishing + precision cleaning is recommended for vacuum applications.
"Precision Cleaning" and "Electropolishing + Precision Cleaning" can be specified by the part number.

·Uncleaned products (standard products) have oil (anti-rust oil) attached to the surface and have an anti-rust effect. However, they are not suitable for cleanroom environments.
·Precision-cleaned products are suitable for clean environments because oil and particles are removed. The anti-rust effect is reduced by removing the oil.
·In electrolytic polishing + precision cleaning, oil removal and electrolytic polishing of metal surfaces further remove particles and reduce outgas.
In the case of stainless steel, a passivation film is formed on the surface, increasing the anti-rust effect.
