Specifications and overview
- (Joining method)
- Cut the round belt with a blade to a length 5% shorter than the calculated or measured length, so that the cut face is square.
- Hold the dedicated MBQC joint fitting with pliers or similar, and insert it into the hole at one end of the hollow belt up to the middle of the fitting.
- If insertion is difficult, for example in winter, soak the hollow belt in 40°C warm water for 1–2 minutes to make insertion easier.
- Take care not to crush the edge of the fitting while working.
- Insert the fitting into the hole at the other end of the round belt as well.
