Slide Screws, Change Nuts
A slide screw is a part that converts the rotary motion transmitted from the motor into linear motion using a screw, and is a type of feed screw. The structure combines a thread shaft and nut. Products made from various materials are available. Select according to the application. The thread shaft is often made from highly durable and versatile stainless steel, but carbon steel for mechanical structures (S45C) may be used for extra strength or aluminum may be used for a lightweight and corrosion-resistant design. The nut is often made from PPS resin that has high sliding performance and heat resistance, but corrosion-resistant brass (BSBM) or abrasion-resistant or low coefficient of friction bronze casting (BC6) may also be used. Slide screws are used in the movable part of precision equipment such as semiconductor manufacturing installations or electronic devices, depending on the screw size and material.

The nut and shaft are sold separately. Use THK nut and shaft (DCMA, DCMB, CT) as a set. No surface treatment is given to the cut shaft ends.
[Features]
· Change nut DCMA/DCMB models are 45° lead angle type that are difficult to produce by machining.
· Can make simple conversion of linear motion into rotation and rotation into linear motion with 70% efficiency and features a large lead, making it ideal for creating fast forward mechanism with slow rotations.
· The multi-axis screws used in combination with change nuts are molded with cold rolling.
· The exterior surface of the tooth mold is machined to a hardness of 250 HV or more and treated with mirror surface finishing that provides extremely smooth operation and high abrasion-resistance in combination with change nuts.
· Models DCMA40, DCMB40 and the higher versions are designed for use in combination with the cut screw shafts.
· The miniature change nut is molded from oil-impregnated plastic, providing abrasion-resistance and excellent lubrication performance especially during lubrication-free operations.
· In addition, maintenance-free operations are possible as this performance can be maintained for a long time.
· Improved abrasion-resistance: Cold rolled tooth shaft with tooth surface hardened to 250 HV or more and finished to a smooth mirror finish for superior abrasion-resistance. Extremely smooth movement when used in combination with the change nuts.
· Improved mechanical properties: Because of the internal tooth structure of the rolled shaft, the fiber flow occurs along the tooth contours for tight rooted teeth with greater endurance strength.
