Starters
A starter is a type of electromagnetic switch that suppresses excessive current when starting an electric motor. It is used in power generators for fire-fighting facilities and pump equipment. This device is intended to prevent machine damage due to excessive current. Depending on the starting method, there are types such as star delta, reactor, and condorfa. Star Delta is a starter that switches windings and reduces the load. Reactors connect reactors in series to prevent impact on the machine at startup. Condorfa uses an autotransformer and can suppress the influence on the power supply. In addition to the type according to the starting method, dimensions such as motor capacity, coil rated voltage, length and width differ depending on the object, so it is necessary to match the motor to be used.
