Mechanism info.

■Structure of air amplified flat air nozzle

Air is induced from the comb teeth on the nozzle tip and air increase hole in the back where the air flow and speed are amplified.
It utilizes surrounding air to create the air jet with high collision impact with small amount of air.

Other Design Consideration

  • Use resin point pads to elevate the workpieces. This will allow air to be blown on the backside of the PCB and help prevent damage to the workpieces.
  • An opening is provided at the center of pallets to let the blown air escape.
  • Relationship of air flow on/off and sensor on/off.
    Sensor: When the light beam is obstructed, the sensor is ON.

    ② Entry side sensor: ON, Exit side sensor: OFF ⇒Air flow: ON
